Our client seeks a Principal Gameplay Designer to contribute to a new competitive shooter within an incubation game team. The ideal candidate will champion the creation of exceptional gameplay experiences, focusing on movement, gunplay, and abilities, as well as the development of supporting design tools.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You excel in leveraging team resources to deliver world-class player experiences, demonstrating vision, collaboration, design expertise, technical proficiency, and player empathy.

• You possess extensive knowledge of gameplay design and development within contemporary competitive shooter games.

• You possess a unique ability to diagnose and address barriers to player experience enhancement.

• You have a solid understanding of modern design workflows and enjoy collaborating with engineers and producers to optimize them.

• You maintain humility, valuing learning opportunities from teammates and players, even when challenging.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in game design.

• Previous experience contributing to the development and release of at least one competitive shooter game in a gameplay design capacity.
