• Acute Monitoring is well-positioned to address 3 costly patient conditions: Respiratory Compromise, Cerebral & Somatic Compromise, Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI).

A Day in the Life

Your main purpose in this role is to sell the clinical value of Acute Monitoring Advanced Critical Care (ACC) range of products based on clinical expertise. Your objective is to address market access barriers, accelerate adoption of new technologies and burn rate, expand utilization for consumables/sensors and improve outcome for the patients. The ACC Growth Drivers are Respiratory Compromise / Cerebral and Somatic Compromise.

You will be primarily responsible for selling the full range of Advanced Critical Care products professionally to hospitals and related healthcare professionals, as well as for the management of quality/consistency of product and service delivery. You will build strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure the usage of our products and expand the market and penetration, leading through clinical value selling. You will cooperate and coordinate activities with the full Acute Monitoring team, Sales Account Manager and Inside Sales team in the territory to maximize business opportunities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Customer Management

• Achieve agreed budgets, focused on sales growth.

• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.

• Coordinate offers/tenders, handle complaints and back orders.

• Organize and coordinate product demos and workshops.

Business Development

• Lead clinical selling activities within the territory, identify sales prospects, prepare action plans and follow up on new leads.

• Conduct initial product demonstrations and initiate/coordinate clinical evaluations with the Clinical Application Specialist.

• Develop a target list and selling strategy/account mapping while working as a “project manager” for each opportunity to pull in resources as needed. Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.

• Maintain customer knowledge by gathering information about account activities and potential, key decision makers, competitive participation, market share etc.

Support & Training

• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.

• Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.

• Provide verbal technical support and organize regular in-services.

• Assist in National/International training requirements.

Must Haves

• Bachelors degree required. Solid medical background is a strong plus.

• Proven ability in sales and in growing a business generally.

• Demonstrated track record of commercial experience (3 to 5 years), preferably in the medical device industry.

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written is essential.

• Used to work independently with a high level of time management skills.

• Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft packages and proficiency in using modern multi-media tools, sales systems and daily usage of CRM.

• A full clean driving license.

Nice to Haves

• Product launch, territory planning and forecasting experience a plus.

• Used to work independently with a high level of time management skills.

• Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
