Major/Essential Functions:

  • Under direction of the TCHATT Psychiatrist, Provide evidence based psychotherapy

  • Provide evidence based psychotherapy to TCHATT identified program participants in the region, in person and via telemedicine

  • Responds to initial assessment inquiry. Meeting at schools to with child and family during Psychiatry appointment; in person and telemedicine

  • Demonstrates knowledge of services available and provide information and referral

  • Employee will provide presentations on the TCHATT Program, referral process and resources

  • Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program

  • Performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures

  • May provide supervision and direction to clerical, paraprofessional or professional staff members

  • Monitors, oversees, executes, evaluates,maintains, and analyzes data for deliverables,progress, and quality of work being performed by staff, projected and program objectives

  • Oversees the daily progress of the TCHATT project. In charge of meeting project goals and objectives and general project management

  • Provide the TCHATT team with leadership and develop work systems and processes that effectively drive productivity, tracking, record,and compile program performance data

  • Develop and maintain relationship with appropriate agencies and attend meetings assisting with project requirements, presentations, education and outreach. Managing long-term goals. Develop an effective plan of action for running the TCHATT program

  • Reporting monthly,quarterly and yearly progress with in depth project analysis

  • Under direction of the TCHATT Psychiatrist, provide evidence based psychotherapy

  • Collaborate with community agencies and providers to ensure access for service in line with Individual Treatment Plans

  • Communicates respectfully with team members and supervisor in a timely manner utilizing direct, complete, and adequate information

  • Communicates with outside social service and government agencies in a professional manner, upholding and adhering to privacy standards on behalf of the patients

  • Communicates effectively and productively with patients' family members as needed and permitted based on current policies

  • When problems arise they are addressed directly with the person(s) involved or speaks with their supervisor exclusively

  • Receives and is open to constructive feedback

  • Seeks feedback from others to improve clinical practice and safety

  • As evidenced by expressed, demonstrated and written evidence of direct, respectful, complete and adequate communication with colleagues and supervisors

  • Works with Medical Director, Project Manager and team regarding programmatic improvements, collaboration with Education Service Centers (ESC), Independent School Districts (ISDs), and future direction of the program

  • Adheres to all TTUHSC EP policies, procedures and processesPersonally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork)

Pay Statement:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required plus four years supervisory experience

  • Licensed Professional Counselors(LPC), LPC-Associate, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or related

Position Specific Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Children and Adolescents in Mental Health Counseling

  • Knowledge on case management. Experience with presenting mental health topics as an expert in the field, including outreach and community engagement skills

  • Must be able to represent the TCHATT Project in the community with ease to develop relationships and solidify MOUs

  • Project Management, results driven, qualitative and quantitative research, time management, proactive, excellent computer and communication skills, analytical skills, works independently and as part of a team, ability to be highly organized and prioritize, positive interpersonal skills, ability to take initiative
