HP Inc. Packaging Engineer, Gaming Peripherals (HyperX) in Hsinchu, Taiwan

If you are our Packaging Engineer, Gaming Peripherals (HyperX) in Taiwan , you will have a chance to

  • Collaborate with team members on packaging design development, provide vocational ideas and solutions to accomplish a design proposal.

  • Understand the usage of a product. Define proper pack plans for the product and its accessories, implement packaging structure design.

  • Create packaging prototypes for design validation at earlier stage of project development to discover and control risks.

  • Define correct packaging materials, components, and engineering specifications. Ensure the design complies with all regulations.

  • Define packaging reliability verification plan and criteria. Analyze the result and have ability to do trouble shooting.

  • Release design drawings, documents to vendor.

  • Communicate with vendor and give suggestions to ensure packaging quality and development schedule is controlled.

  • Document maintenance, such like engineering specs, drawings, label spec, BOM system, etc.

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • 4+ years of experience in packaging design industry. Familiar in Paper/Corrugated board/Plastic packaging materials, and manufacturing processes.

  • Sense of packaging styling and cost control.

  • Familiar with general packaging regulations, and packaging testing standards, e.g., ASTM, ISTA, etc.

  • Understanding of packaging optimization for environmental logistics. Knowledge of printing color alignment.

  • With experience in audio peripheral or consumer products is a plus.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Commercial Design, or related academic design equivalent.

  • Creativity Communication skills Problem solving skills

  • Teamwork is a must. Be proactive in collaborating with others and open-minded to accept challenges.
