As Staff Educator, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payers, through education and coaching.

  • Maintains current knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, Certified Home Care, and all 3rd party payor regulations, and promotes compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • Assists in maintaining a yearly in-service calendar for all staff.

  • Demonstrates accountability of actions and work completed.

  • Administers, coordinates, and evaluates operational systems, and educational offerings to enhance operations and internal delivery of quality patient care.

  • Participates in meetings, conferences, and initiates improvement of education and continuity of care.

  • Provides support and assistance to all employees as needed to enhance their efforts to meet the agency mission and maintain efficiency. Acts as a resource person for clinical staff.

  • Other duties as assigned to support the changing needs of the business.

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or graduate of an accredited program of Nursing.

  • 3+ years experience in Skilled Home Health.

  • Prior experience as a Nurse Preceptor and/or mentor is preferred.

  • Current Registered Nurse license.

  • Able and willing to travel up to 25%

  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with OASIS

  • Demonstrates knowledge of skilled hom health Federal and State regulations

You will report to the Director of Education.
