Apex has an opportunity for a Business Analyst. Here are the details: Position: Business Analyst Location: Hybrid on site in Lansing MI Rate: $45-53/hr W2 Duration: Contract through end of year plus potential for extension Business Analyst Position Description: The Business Analyst position will work as a contract resource for the State of Michigan - Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supporting multiple projects for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The resource will act as a BA role for various in-flight projects including Software as a Service solutions, vendor supported systems, and custom web applications. This resource will serve as a liaison between DHHS business partners and development teams, gathering requirements from the business users, facilitating meetings, writing user stories, and developing test plans and cases. Required Skills:

  • Compliance and risk documentation experience
  • Requirements gathering
  • Previous experience working on a scrum team
  • Workflow modeling/mapping, wireframes, business process models - any tools are fine
  • Excellent work ethic and communication skills - really wants someone who can be a driver and not need a lot of hand holding.

Desired Skills:

  • AzureDevOps
  • Previous Scrum Master experience or running ceremonies
