The ESG Reporting team's mission is to build a lasting, scalable and trusted ESG reporting infrastructure to satisfy regulatory requirements and stakeholders’ expectations. We translate external requirements into internal needs and build tools and mechanisms that enable Amazon businesses to meet their ESG reporting obligations and effectively manage their ESG opportunities and risks.

The WWS team is seeking a Value Chain Analyst to support Amazon’s strategy for compliance with emerging global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting regulations. Specifically, this individual will be supporting the development of the end to end program for mapping and maintaining key value chain data.

Key job responsibilities

  • Understanding and communicating to business partners the value chain specific requirements and standards that Amazon must comply with.

  • Executing on the yearly program to maintain or enhance value chain information, including the identification of stakeholders, systems, and processes along each of the mapped value chains.

  • Earning trust with internal partners, businesses, and technology teams through deep project and stakeholder management skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of ESG reporting, Value Chain documentation or Transfer Pricing experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field

  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders to engage, influence, earn trust, and drive resolution to challenging problems;

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s businesses

  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment
