IBM Product Manager UI/UX (Envizi) in Markham, Ontario

Your Role and Responsibilities

You are a key member of the Envizi product management team within the IBM Sustainability Software organization where we focus on delivering software solutions that help our customers deliver on their sustainability goals. This role is responsible for all technical aspects of the web-based user interface, including the adoption of Product Led Growth (PLG) principles and UX strategies to optimize client acquisition, engagement and retention.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Be the voice of the customer and empathize with client pain in all aspects of the user journey.

  • Drive a major UI migration project to align with the latest IBM technologies and standards.

  • Deliver key UI/UX features of the product, including web accessibility (WCAG), globalization features (language translations), user engagement and satisfaction tooling, and milestone tracking with in-product instrumentation.

  • Influence product pricing and packaging including trial sites and promotions.

  • Research and become a domain expert on enterprise SaaS-based carbon accounting and ESG reporting software - gain an intimate understand competitor offerings and differentiation.

  • Collaborate with functional groups across the company to deliver enhancements including UX/Design, Tech Leads, Developers, QA teams, other Product Managers, service delivery teams, sales and marketing.

  • Foster and drive a customer-centric, agile development culture, document product requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Curate product back-log(s) and work across teams to set priorities for your product enhancements / roadmap.

  • Develop and maintain a suite of content for your product enhancements, including product updates, knowledge base articles, videos, user guides, software demo scripts and internal training materials.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Software-based Product Management role with focus on UI/UX.

  • Delivering globalization and accessibility user enhancements.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing Product Management best practices including market and competitor analysis, customer requirements gathering, product strategy and vision development, epic definition, agile product delivery, and customer delivery and support.

  • Experience working directly with clients.

  • Experience with systems and software development processes.

  • Proven interpersonal skills bridging the gap between technical and business focals.

  • Experience writing detailed requirements and/or agile stories and performing UAT.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Proven problem-solving skills.
