The Global Safety and Support (GSS) Program Management Office (PMO) is actively seeking an individual for a detail-oriented, experienced, and professional Technical Program Manager. The Project Management Office (PMO) serves as a central hub for project oversight, governance, and support, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and aligned with business objectives. The individual will drive cross-functional safety and support programs. To be successful, this TPM must be comfortable working in a highly ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work with functional pillars to understand their business goals and priorities

  • Centralize information and deliver it to the right stakeholders, including: overall progress and health of projects, status of milestones and deliverables across the portfolio, project risks and progress on mitigating these risks

  • Set up operational and strategic objectives. PMO plays a crucial role in this process and carries the following responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the programs and portfolios are aligned with operational and strategic objectives and enterprise resources are allocated and utilized as per business goals

  • Create visibility of resource capacity, competency, and availability for all stakeholders and establish a real-time resource scheduling to accommodate the fast-changing ground reality

About the team

The GSS PMO is a global team that owns the supportability readiness for all NPIs as well as Global Safety and Support business operations and strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional program management. The PMO is a highly diverse group of technical and non-technical program managers with expertise in leading complex and impactful initiatives internally within the support space and externally for GRD customers.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

North Reading, MA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
