Diabetes Division(ADC) :

PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Achieve ADC South Korea Net sales and facilitate achievement of Division margin by leading commercial activities in all relevant business channels including but not limited to Private Endocrinologists, Hospital, Retail and e-commerce
Accelerate new customer acquisition for FreeStyle Libre
Establish CGM technology, Ambulatory Glucose Profile, and Time in Range as new Standards of Care for Diabetes Management in South Korea
Drive digitalization of the FreeStyle Libre business model by increasing the penetration and usage of digital health tools - FreeStyle LibreLink and LibreView - by consumers and Health Care Professionals
Seek opportunities to develop and gain market share for ADC via collaboration with partners, DW Pharm, NY pharm and Adela
Motivate and develop both ADC as well as distributors’ sales force to achieve business goals
Continuously improve productivity of sales reps (both ADC as well as distributor) especially in hospitals and profitable retail channels
Build & maintain close relationships with KOLs & Key Accounts to develop our product branding
Lead the field sales team and manage performance to achieve set sales and margin targets
MAIN / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop and execute on country sales strategy under the guidance of Country Manager, and execute on marketing plans to achieve division’s goals
Analyze sales reports and provide feedback to channel partners and distributor/s to achieve sales & marketing objectives
Build rapport & work closely with KOLs to drive brand awareness, preference, and advocacy
Ensure all Key Accounts are well covered by field sales team and distributors to achieve sales marketing objectives
Work closely with General Manager and Regional marketing team to ensure best utilization of marketing budget to meet overall target
Provide sales, marketing & product support to distributors and partners
Develop Incentive Plans for Sales Reps and set sales targets in alignment with Business Manager
Actively participate in business development initiatives and seek out strategic partnerships for ADC
Demonstrate sales leadership qualities in contributing towards launch strategy and execute tactical plans for new product launches
Execute field activities such as road shows, product training and symposiums to create product awareness among health professionals and public
Work closely with existing & potential KOLs & Key Accounts to new customer acquisition for CGM to diabetic patients especially insulin users
Seek new business opportunities, collaborations, or accounts to grow ADC business and market share
Proactively monitor, gather & report feedback on market trends and competitors’ activities
Facilitate and coordinate instrument demos, evaluation, placement, complaint handlings and training for customers whenever the needs arise
Provide leadership and direction to the sales team to drive results
Ensure that all business activities are conducted in accordance with Abbott Code of Ethics and local government laws
Maintain Document master list and training plan
MINIMUM BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Bachelor’s Degree
10year of proven sales experience in Medical devices or pharmaceutical industry
2year of experience in people management as a sales manager
2year of experience in strategic alliance management
Strong ability to develop KOL network as well as manage Key Account in retail & hospital environments
Knowledge & experience in diabetes category will be advantageous
Familiar with standard software packages with regards to word processing, spreadsheet application and Power Point
Speak and write basic English for business conversation will be an added advantage
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Analytical, energetic & strive in a highly result-oriented environment
Team player with strong communication, facilitation & interpersonal skills
