Medtronic Sales Representative, Coronary in Seoul, South Korea

A Day in the Life

The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Coronary products assigned and representing the company in accordance with its policies and in the area assigned. The role will cover generally in Seoul & Gyeonggi-do region . This is a rewarding and challenging position which provides the opportunity to truly make an immediate impact and achieve positive outcomes to patients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s core mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures (Foundation list) and Code of Conduct.

  • Responsible for managing sales, gross profits, and achieving financial objectives for assigned products within assigned territory.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans.

  • Achieve sales goals and objectives.

  • Conduct sales calls (medical professionals / dealers) to promote, sell and service Medtronic’s products and services to existing, and potential customers.

  • Complete administrative reporting as assigned, such as Expense reports, updating Account profiles and Analysis, Daily / Weekly plans, and Activity reports, Monthly forecast, Database, and inventory log.

  • Provide on-going field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in market, distribution, pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features.

  • Cost effectively manages time and company assets.

  • Provide 24-hour territory coverage (including evenings, weekends, holidays), as required.

  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge.

  • Provide technical back up and follow up, as required.

  • Organize marketing activities such as seminars and customer meetings as required.

  • Regularly update customers on product performance.

  • Train and educate both existing and potential customers to gain market share.

  • Follow company policies, guidelines, and forms.

  • Participate in all sales training sessions (classroom, FOJT, etc).

Must-Have

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree qualifications

  • 1- 3 years of previous clinical/sales experience in medical devices or healthcare industry

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!

  • Active driver’s license

  • Effective communication skills, over moderate level English speaking

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer focused, self-motivated

  • Outgoing, Energetic & Result Oriented person

  • Willingness to learn, especially technical information

  • Ability to teach and educate medical personnel regarding product features and benefits

Nice to Haves

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related courses

  • Industry experience is highly regarded (Medical Devices or Healthcare)
