Summarized Purpose:

Act as the key finance contact person for China FSP business. Coordinate with commercial& operation finance and local operation team to support key FSP bidding process. Provide monthly track of overall China FSP business as well as key projects to provide data visibility to management team and support China FSP business fast growth.

Key responsibilities :

• Coordinate with global FSP finance& operation team and local FSP operation team during bidding process to ensure full alignment of key assumptions during bidding processes (including role mapping, Comp& Ben and other costs, rate and margin calculation, etc). Understand customer’s needs and fully communicate with related parties.

• Contributes new ideas and strategies to continuously improve current process to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

• Act as the key finance contact to review finance related terms for China only FSP contracts.

• Provide monthly tracking for China FSP overall actual rev, margin and HC status and compare with AOP and PY. Track key FSP projects’ revenue, margin and HC status and compare with budget. Identify key drivers for fav and unfav variances and work with operation team to develop action plans.

• Attend monthly China FSP leadership meeting. Present key financial data and share insights. Drive for management’s discussion and work out short-term and long-term actions to drive business growth.

• Work with local FSP operation team, HR&TA team and global FSP leadership team to develop China FSP strategy and define key metrics to evaluate and track long-term success.

Keys to Success

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or above with major in accounting, management, etc.

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years). Preferred industry of Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, etc.

CICPA/ACCA/CMA qualification is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients.

• Strong knowledge of accounting/financial principles.

• Ability to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysis.

• Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

• Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data

• Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity

• Demonstrates executive presence and good presentation skills

• Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

• Ability to balance and deliver against competing demands
